Investment philosophy

Starting point of NPM Capital's investments is that value growth is based on economic fundamentals of the company. Therefore NPM Capital stimulates and supports its portfolio companies on three mainly topics:
- Operational excellence
- Sustainability
- The integration of e-commerce in marketing and sales

NPM Capital furthermore facilitates and supports companies' growth strategy based on organic growth and acquisitions.

The following applies to new investments:
- Companies in which NPM Capital invests must have a minimum value of € 50 million (up to a maximum of € 500 million).
- NPM Capital will, in exceptional situations, achieve this by acquiring a minority stake.
- Although NPM Capital focuses on investing in companies based in the Benelux, these companies may have activities on a
  broad international scale. NPM Capital is looking for investment opportunities in different industries, with a particular focus
  on sectors such as e-commerce, food, healthcare and energy sector suppliers.
- NPM Capital has external experts as Supervisory Board members, as this is an integral part of its governance.

Our aim as NPM Capital is to be an active shareholder without becoming an activist shareholder. The interests of all the stakeholders will, in virtually all cases, be aligned.
