NPM Capital increases its stake in Hillen & Roosen

NPM Capital has increased its stake in construction and development company Hillen & Roosen from 35% to 50% through the acquisition of an existing block of shares. NPM Capital has been a shareholder since 2000. Managing Director Huib Klein Haneveld sees the increased shareholding as an expression of confidence in the company’s management and strategy.

Hillen & Roosen developed positively in 2007 in a number of regards. The company achieved a turnover totalling € 140 million, marking a 14% increase in comparison to the previous year, and had a well-filled order portfolio at the end of 2007. A number of high-profile projects were also completed last year, including the Amsterdam Public Library (the largest public library in the Netherlands) that was co-constructed by Hillen & Roosen and delivered in mid-2007. The company received the first Amsterdam New Construction Award for the ‘de Monnik’ residential development project.

Hillen & Roosen was founded in 1899 and has its head office in Amsterdam. The company currently has 260 employees and operates nationwide in the Netherlands in the fields of development, utility construction, residential construction, restoration, renovation and maintenance.
